Love was perfected in the Word made flesh, Jesus the Christ. Love is about to be perfected in truth. Truth is about to be revealed through the Son, through whom we are perfected in love.
If you understand how God created us and with what, you understand that we were "written" into existence with His Word.
That "Word" has been corrupted with the ancient incident in the Garden of God, where Adam gave dominion over the earth, to the serpent.
We are creatures created with "free will". Without free will there would not exist genuine love. God in his wisdom had to let the transgression run it's course so that all his children could be saved through his servant, Jesus Christ.
1 John: 4
"Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.
6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
13 Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.
14 And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.
15 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.
16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
19 We love him, because he first loved us.
20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
21 And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also."
Salvation is not predestined for most of us. Predestination is a mutation of the story of the remnant of Israel God set aside, through Grace. They would be those who are described in Isaiah and Revelation. Paul was such of the "elect".
The elect, the 144,000 are those that are "set aside" - those that are sealed" of God, his "servants". They are through time responsible for the teaching of the story of Grace - the Truth. Those that devoted their souls and gave them as a living sacrifice to God and teach that gift of love from Christ to the multitude that no man can number, until the day of the harvest and restoration.
To accept Christ and his love is one thing. To emulate it is another - not many get such an opportunity or even understand it. Not all are called to do it. But it is that kind of love -the giving of your life for a friend that Jesus talks about, that connects you to that element of Christ.
That sacrifice started with God, who came in flesh - the Word made flesh, and suffered his son dying on the cross.
Jesus then in the same, died to save God's creation. And if you understand what purifies and restores us to what we were made to be, you understand the incredible act that Jesus endured for us.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
You will soon learn something about the power behind that restoration. But a deception will be played out first in his name. He who sung about HIStory will stand to re-write HIStory. But before his sanctuary was polluted, he accepted that the Lord's work would be completed in his hands.
"Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand."
This servant of God will be the host who's sanctuary was polluted over his prolonged life. It was he who was buried with the wicked and the rich in his death, and he who the world has wondered over.
He is the beast that was, and is not, and will ascend out of the bottomless pit. His "vessel" will have hosted two spirits: One of God and one of the spirit of the antichrist. Despite signs and lying wonders, we are to wait and not be deceived.
Yet the spirit once housed in that vessel, but taken out of the way so that evil could be revealed, did willingly give up his soul, so the work of the Lord could prosper in his hand. Just as the Lord promised that Zerubbabel built the foundation of the new temple, and his hands would finish it.
When you truly love, you are willing to give up all, even life to prosper the one you love.
Would you take the place of this man?
